His company only employed three people, however they also had customers calling in to the trade counter for their products. Due to the small number of staff employed sometimes customers had to wait while staff finished either on the phone or with other waiting customers. Although customers never said anything, there was sometimes the feeling of customers getting impatient waiting for the service.

We called on this customer and suggested that we provide our Compact machine free on loan for their trade counter. This would enable customers to have a drink while waiting for service, and help to eleviate their anxiety at waiting. The system was installed and as a result not only did it help eleviate the customers anxiety it also led to added business, as the other suppliers in the town didn't offer this type of facility, so many people who wanted their products went there as they could get a drink. This cost the supply company only a few pence, however the resulting orders on many occasions resulted in hundreds of pounds worth of business.
